from pixels to prints.

a printmaking workshop for screen-heavy teams.

when did you last make something with your hands?

your team lives on screens. slack. zoom. figma. notion. the average office worker switches between apps and screens hundreds of times a day. attention fragments. creativity narrows. and somewhere along the way, the physical, the tactile, the genuinely human gets quietly crowded out.

screen swap brings an ancient screen printing process directly to your team. no experience needed. no design background required. no staring at pixels. just a room full of people ready to make something real.

it is the kind of reconnection that screen-heavy teams rarely get. not because it is nostalgic. because it is real.

why it works.

screen printing is individual by nature. each person makes their own piece. but that is exactly what makes it work as a team experience.

the group moves through a shared process together, starting with a collective design direction and ending with a gallery moment where the variety across the group becomes the point. same process. same starting point. genuinely different results. just like a great team.

made with intention.

screen swap uses only eco-friendly, water-based inks. low odour, non-toxic, and kind to the environment. items are printed onto 100% linen where possible, prioritising natural, sustainable materials over synthetic alternatives.

we use Permaset Aqua inks exclusively — a vegan, eco-certified screen printing ink made right here in Sydney by Colormaker Industries in Brookvale.

for organisations with sustainability commitments or ESG considerations, screen swap offers a team experience that genuinely reflects those values. not just in intent, but in the materials used.

the person behind the screens.

screen swap is run by Ashlea Vallance, marketing director, creative strategist, and founder of The Screenery. she has delivered successful marketing campaigns across corporate, media, and brand partnerships, including an award-winning brand experience at Vivid Sydney 2024.

she founded the screenery in 2020, a screen printing practice grounded in craft, colour, and considered design, and brings that same strategic and creative intelligence to every screen swap session. this is not a side project. it is a deliberate extension of a career spent at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and impact.
